Riding Mares
|
Our mares below were genetics tested as carriers of GBED (N/Gb). GBED does not affect the mare herself and only affects her foal
(25% chance) if she is bred to another GBED carrier. Although Classi is not a GBED carrier, we have decided to not breed these
mares. The odds of producing a GBED carrier foal when bred to Classi are 50/50 with half foals being N/N and half foals being
carriers (not affected either). All of our other mares have tested N/N for HYPP, GBED, PSSM1, and HERDA. We believe we will
raise some very nice, quality foals that are guaranteed negative for these genetic disorders from our other mares so we are focusing on
the riding futures of these girls! We know these girls will make stunning riders on the trail and in the show ring!!
